Hello everyone,
I'm very new to the site and in charge of a rebuild of an E30 convertible 325i.
At the moment I have a donor vehicle from which I'll be taking the electrical, mechanical and interior parts from.
Something I didn't consider at the beginning was the car original identification and registration documents! Yes... Not very clever! However now that I've gone so far there's no turning back especially since my ten year old son is involved with helping me and I'm not going to stop and let him down.
The question is and I'm sure there'll be many others... Can I obtain the vehicle identification from an engine number as I have no vin info at all??
Hope you guys can advise and help as I don't fancy a 'Q' plate after all the hard work.
