I would like to be 'armed' with some order numbers before I hit go and wondered if anyone on here is interested? It would be total factory look and even the LED strip would be from an E36 / E46 cabrio.

Also, how much would you pay? I would pay upto £100 including LED for a hi-quality version.

Please add your name to the list:

1) Riffian
2) Oze30 Would it be possible to make the roof spoiler longer like the Mtec one? Up to 100 with LED

Mate, I have a few questions.
Will it fit the same as the original one?
Is it going to be a copy of the standard spoiler or the MTech one?
Any ideas just how good the quality will be?
Will it be paintable?
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

Not got a touring myself, but I think you'd have a lot more interest if you went for the (uber rare!) Mtech version :thumb:

I have a uber rare touring M-Tech spoiler that you could borrow for a very large deposit :)

I'd also buy a copy, so put me down too.

What happened? He ordered and nobody paid up?
If you must drag up the past then read the thread

No offence Riffian but a post count of 12 does not inspire confidence for a venture such as this.

can this sort of project be taken on by one of the zone traders or the zone mr bigs so as to give people more confidence to put their names down as the thread relating to cottys misfortune will undoubtably put people off.
no offence intended to riffian but as already mentioned people are wary of schemes or deals from newbies. i know we were all newbies once but you cant blame people for being careful.
im sure members wont expect it to be done in a non profit way by whoever takes up the challenge as long as the final price is reasonable and the finished product is good 8)

If you can do so with the LED recess then I'll take one and pay up front.

I won't post again on here until I have concrete prices and ETA for delivery as this is getting messy.
Its not really messy mate its just that your not wanting to have made what the majority want.
If i can get hold of an original Mtech spoiler i'll find a price to have then replicated with and without the brake light. If it gets off the ground i'll fund it myself.

Out of interest, did this thread inspire you to do it or have you had the plan for a while?

old_skool_2002 will sort you out with MTEC - for a hefty deposit.
Bit of both mate as it reminded me that i wanted to do this a while back.

Obviously if it happens then you'll be on the list

Well no offense taken, even if that is an odd remark to make on a thread aimed at mainly getting a cool idea off the ground.
its entirely relevant considering what happened last time..
