There are a number of options with tailpipe style and design, and we will liase with individuals as to their exact requirements. If we don't have the measurements for your particular combination, we can do a specific fitment if you can get the car to us, so you get the fit and look you are expecting.

Pics of the system after BTB had rectified my fitting attempt.

Don't forget, this was designed specifically for the Zender rear Valance, which will
be considerably lower when fitted to the existing one.
Joe, apologys for potentially putting customers off.

The operative word is WHEN, as in the Zender valance is NOT yet fitted.
When it is , the rear of the exhaust will sit the same as Kieran's.
Old pic of Zender kit mock fitted but without BTB Exhaust, just to give you an idea.

Deposit will be required when the order is placed, the balance will be due when your order is ready for despatch. Either can be paid with credit card if required, VAT is included whatever payment method you choose. Payment must be fully cleared before goods will be released.guss wrote:Hello I'd be interested in this group buy if you could let know about pay methods etc .

Just want to double check the full system price - £924 in VAT
Does this include the manifold, mid box and back box?
Edit : i know it sounds obvious that it is the 'full' system but other exhaust manufacturers state they are selling you the full system when they dont include the manifold

No it's £924 + the cost of the manifold.
So it's either -
5 manifolds - £747 + £924 = £1671
10 mainfolds - £648 + £924 = £1572
For the full system -
*We can also supply a single pipe twin box system with twin tailpipes (Please specify body kit type: Mtech 1, Mtech 2 (Sport) or chrome bumper/no skirt). This must be ordered with the BTB manifolds and 2-1 downpipe option
Price BTB Twin box 63.5mm system £770 + VAT = £924 including VAT

Unfortunately £924 was a stretch, so £1671 is just not going to be a runner for me at the moment.
Sorry for letting the group down but I'm going to have to pull out.
Rich.

I thought it was for the full system Im not prepared to pay 900 pounds for a back box and middle box to be honest. That seems very expensive

Just seeing this now -
£900 for two silencers and pipe,
If you are buying the manifold can an 'all in one deal' be done for the manifold and system at a better price?

Hmm yes £924 for two silencers and pipe is very expensive! I'm sure its very good quality but so is a Scorpion system which costs less than half that...
I've just re-read the old Btb group buy thread from 2 years ago (sep-november 2009) and the price for the complete system was £1285 plus postage.
So compare that to todays prices below
5 manifolds - £747 + £924 = £1671
10 mainfolds - £648 + £924 = £1572
Thats a price hike of either £386 or £287 in 2 years
£386 is more likely with the lack of interest so far
Sorry to be so blunt but someone had to say it!
Any chance of an 'all in one deal' at a better rate as darren_mk suggested?

I'm interested in a pair of 3 into 1 manifolds and a 2-1-2 X pipe. Is the manifold like the one in the top picture or the bottom picture. Is the top picture there just to show what the X-pipe looks like?
Could you please let me know if you will ship to Melbourne Australia and if so, ho much it would be.
Also I assume that as I'm in Australia I do not need to pay VAT, is this correct?

Was undecided whether to go for the full system but that price is quite dear, would having stock central section and back box mean it wouldn't be giving the power gains ?
Sorry (if a had the manifold and down pipes )[/b]

I found info in the old btb group buy that states the complete btb system gives 18hp whereas just the manifold has shown a 12hp gainguss wrote:Was undecided whether to go for the full system but that price is quite dear, would having stock central section and back box mean it wouldn't be giving the power gains ?![]()

I got a gain of 15bhp and over 20lbft with a BTB2 coupled to a sebring centre and scorpion rear.scot wrote:I found info in the old btb group buy that states the complete btb system gives 18hp whereas just the manifold has shown a 12hp gainguss wrote:Was undecided whether to go for the full system but that price is quite dear, would having stock central section and back box mean it wouldn't be giving the power gains ?![]()

Scorpion systems are regarded to give little gains over a standard system.
I now have a standard genuine BMW centre and rear and have notices no difference in performance, just a quieter note.

Thank's for the info Scott I think I might be going for a suspension upgrade similar price and probably more beneficial.scot wrote:I found info in the old btb group buy that states the complete btb system gives 18hp whereas just the manifold has shown a 12hp gainguss wrote:Was undecided whether to go for the full system but that price is quite dear, would having stock central section and back box mean it wouldn't be giving the power gains ?![]()

I also am interested in just the headers, and am in Sydney Australia. (we still have jobs down here ;)
What would be the cost for the headers alone and can we loose the vat? I have a mate coming from the UK for Christmas, could he bring em with him?

Hi mate, the VAT doesnt apply to Australia so its a bit cheaper for you!e30-325iS wrote:I'm interested in a pair of 3 into 1 manifolds and a 2-1-2 X pipe. Is the manifold like the one in the top picture or the bottom picture. Is the top picture there just to show what the X-pipe looks like?

I've just got a quote through Parcelmonkey (a courier search engine) and the best shipping rate to Oz is £110 Via DHL Express Worldwide (excluding VAT as you dont pay it) The quote also included insurance to the value of £500.
I've recently sent a btb copy manifold so i based the box and weight measurements on that (13kg 115cm x 20 x 45)
If the BTB one is lighter it may be cheaper!

Thanks Scott, The shipping is about what I expected, though I would imagine the BTB would be more because of the X-pipe.scot wrote:Hi mate, the VAT doesnt apply to Australia so its a bit cheaper for you!e30-325iS wrote:I'm interested in a pair of 3 into 1 manifolds and a 2-1-2 X pipe. I was fairly sure about not having to pay VAT but I thought i'd ask as I didn't want to end up paying tax there and here.
