What's the price for the kit for an M30 conversion? Is it any different to an M20 conversion?
140GBP all in posted to anywhere un the UK or any of the Islands
Yep, those bits are all you need if you mount the rack on the front holes Stu.
If you use an E46 rack, you can do away with the rubber guibo too.
I don't think I've sold a kit to an M30 owner yet and haven't worked on an M30 engined E30 myself either so I wouldn't be in a position to say anything for certain. I know driftboy had some problems with clearance issues on his M30 with the Z3 rack however...
Might be better to ask him since he'd have better experience of it

M42 rightness above 6500rpm, nobody can hear you scream
Yeah, it'll fit once you have the manifold made to suit. Friend of mine has an E36 rack and kit under his S50b30... although he hasn't driven the car yet as he's taking so long to finish it off
@Tomson; Did those spacers arrive to you yet?

Hi,
Exactly the same as above, are these still available? I also want to fit a z3 rack to my 318is.
Again, no rush as havent got the rack yet. Am hoping to visit a scrap yard this weekend to get one.
What is the price?
Cheers,
Craig

Can anyone explain the part I've underlined, as it's the first time I've seen this mentioned when talking about fitting different racks.StuBeeDoo wrote:What's the price of the complete kit - spacers and hoses - for an M20, posted to Tyneside please?
Am I right in thinking that if I modify the groove in the steering column, the spacers and hoses (and obviously the rack) are all I need??

Bump
Prices for the complete kit is £135 posted to the UK at the moment going by the current euro/gbp rate.
I'm thinking of discontinuing the full kit for the time being however as I've constantly been having problems with the suppliers of the odd fittings.... which caused delays in orders which was frustrating for me and people that were waiting on kits
I will be desiging a new kit in the coming weeks that will look much more OE install and also have the provision for E46 330Ci PAS coolers as the Clubsport rack is rapidly becoming the rack to have as its the quickest available and nicest weighting but a cooler is essential.
Will be still offering spacers to mount the rack however if people need them.
Price for them is £20 posted

Hi Dave, any update on the new kit?
Hi mate, just a couple of quick questions for you.Dave_M3 wrote:Afraid not, only have one or two sets but they are already spoken for once I get the right fittings for them.
Have you stopped doing the Z3/e36 fitting kits and are the e46 fitting kits available from yourself yet? (and if so how much are they?)
