I am looking into starting my own business selling car parts, tools etc but don't want to order a load of one thing and be stuck with them! so do any zoners want to be guinea pigs :-) (I have done loads of deals with 2nd hand stuff see my feedback)

These creepers will be going into my shop at £59.99 to start (actuall RRP 99.99)

But I can buy them in wholesale at £47.99 each anyone interested? (I,m loving the car used as an example by the manufacturer!)
postage would be by parcelforce for £7.50 to mainland uk

here's the blurb:

some of rolson tools are ok, but most are cheap imported crap.

having said that, i got a £5 socket set for xmas 3 years ago and i still use it now with no broken sockets!

well I can't actually break cars at the moment (living in a house short term let with no private parking) and so until I get my own house I am stuck with the few bits I have left from my last two breakers.

I can't work at the moment, (on maternity leave) so will see what prices I can get tools in at and stick them up in my ebay shop. The all I need to do is get courier to collect them. Job Done.

a lot of tools wholesalers sell cheap stuff but its complete tat so will need a lot of looking into.

If I was looking to work on BMW's i'd want

Creeper
Axel Stands
Trolley Jack
Socket Set
Torx socket set
spanner set.. (one with a 32mm spanner for those blasted fan nuts!)

Any other suggestions of stuff that would sell well in your opinion?

there is a snap-on rep living just up the road from me (well 2 or 3 miles) he may not take too kindly if i start selling it but I can look into it.

To be a Snap-On dealer I would of thought you would need to be a franchise which I would imagine is far from cheap!

Retail on this snap-on creeper £107! ouch... will contact them in regards to purchasing wholesale but think its a franchise thing, which is a huge investment.

I can get a Marksman padded ones, for £20.00 , its 7kg, so allowing a kilo for packaging etc postage would be £8.50

RRP is an impressive £49.99... but knowing my luck i'll buy 10, sell one and be down £150 and stuck with 9 creepers!

The second creeper is a better design, the prob with the top one is that those fellows who are more on the big boned side tend to bottom that one out as it bends. I'm about 90kg and it scrapes on our workshop floor, the one with the frame is better IMO.
