I'm trying to gauge interest to see how many people would be interested in weld in cross members for side mount competition seats.

I have found and been speaking to a company called TC Production (www.topcatproduction.co.uk) who make these kits in house.

Tube supplied is 1" CDS tube x 600mm long, 2.5mm wall, and the brackets themselves allow nearly 40mm of sideways movement, and contain a specially made deep M8 nut for fixing.

The spreader plates are 90mm by 100mm which is much bigger than the minimum required by MSA.

The tubes need to be trimmed to length, (supplied at 600mm long), the mounting/spreader plates may need to be trimmed or bent to suit your car, and they need to be welded to a good standard.

The current ebay price is £36 + £8 courier. I am waiting for them to come back to me with a price based on 10 orders. At this stage I’m looking for interest:

Yeah it's priced per side. I've been speaking to the chap and as much as he wishes he could drop the price, he's only able to lower it to £33 as he's already had to price low to compete on ebay.

Either way I'll be getting a set from him but the offer is there...
