I can't see exactly but on the drawing of the "end view"
Are the hidden lines of the 20mm slot on the left or on the right of the hidden line with a 2.5mm dimension?

There is nothing wrong with that drawing Dave, its obvious they are milled from solid, if your brain doesnt work it out from the drawing there is a picture of a pair welded to a subframe on the same piece of paper which makes it clear as day they are milled NOT folded.

If thats the original drawing supplied by Jhonno there are no excuses as to why they were made wrong, let alone why we have been f*cked about so much for the last 6 months!

But regardless of blame, excuses or passing the buck I couldnt really give a f*ck anymore, I just want my money back

it did seem obvious to me when i first saw the pics. but then he did say that he was given several drawings, maybe thats not the first.

+1

I would prefer my money back but if they're being sent out then that's fair enough, the whole thing has been a shambles and there's been poor communication from both parties through out the 6 months or so that it has taken to get to this stage.

I know it's obvious Dan but I just wanted to show how it would be physically impossible to make them through forming if the shoulders on the drawing were shown to be 2.5mm high and 2.5mm wide while the total height of the plate was 8mm

I'm furious that Dan is still not telling the truth about all this and making us look bad.

If so I've got a busy weekend lined up, I've been waiting on these so I can weld them on and fit my new fuel tank and M3 propshaft while the rear beam is out.
I'm all excited now!

I've been thinking about this picture, this set up will only allow adjustable toe, not camber.

To have adjustable camber the tabs will have to be welded on at 90° to this, so vertically, not horizontally!

Or, TWO sets of tabs could be used, one pair welded vertically on inside (nearest the diff) to adjust camber and the other set welded on horizontally on the outside (nearest the wheel) to adjust toe.

Just been looking at my bits and peices I have here preparing for work tomorrow.
I have 4 bolts, nuts and washers, but couldn't work out why I had got four of each, with what I have I only need two of each....

Hang on, I only have 4 tabs! 8O

And judging by Winx's photo, so does he.

Half the kit!

Johnno, you have posted on this site several times in the last couple of days, so you have been on here, in fact you are logged on now, what have you got to say about all this?

I cant beleive this.................

I have a big box full of these tabs, we were told by dan it was 4 tabs per kit??? If you need more let me know!!!

also I have sent all the tabs out to people who I know of ie all the paypal people. Our business is not set up to deal directly with the public, we deal with companies so this is all very time consuming and I doubt we will get involved with these forum group buys again after this.

If anyone has put money directly in to our account, please contact me and let me have your name and address (although where you would have got our bank details from, I am unsure?) I am not aware of anyone else who is waiting for them. Dan has not paid for anymore on any one elses behalf or given me any names and addresses of people who want them. This is ridiculous now.

If Dan does not sort this soon, we will invoice him for all the parts made to his incorrect drawings and instructions. Again we seem to be unable to contact him to help sort all your parts out.

He is now.
But he posted on here at exactly 3:00 am and was logged on at least until 4am ish.
I can't beleive he wouldn't have had a look at this thread, it was on the front page list most of that time.

Toby, I'm actually feeling sorry for you being involved in this now!

I hope this experience doesn't put you off dealing with forums / group buys, but I'd understand if it does.

Please could I have four more tabs?

Thanks, Martin Stone.

Its not a problem doing group buys, but we will obviously have to track the forums/ posts to make sure its running smoothly..... this is not the first time we have done group buys via forum members but it is the only one that has gone wrong.

We will keep an eye on this thread untill everyone has there parts / refunds etc

After which id like to request that the thread be removed from the forum, as it portrays an incorrect image of the company.

We don't normally remove threads from the forum.
We "may" on occasion, move them to a more suitable section,,but we do not delete or remove them.

I think that's a bit harsh as you've said already you paid direct to jhonno so isn't your agreement with him??

You wouldn't blame Sony if you bought a tv online from currys and it didn't arrive! Jhonno has dropped the ball and should be chasing this himself.

I'll be calling Monday with my details and info on how I paid so we should be all square, though again if we read further up the thread jhonno already assured me my details had been sent to ttv though I'm not sure what to believe right now!

Completely understand small batches of low margin goods like this that run in to trouble like this are not worth the effort, I for one wouldn't blame ttv if they never got involved with a group buy again! I wouldn't take this much balls ache for little to no profit either, though with the incorrect parts this deal is probably into the red now!

^Agreed. I spoke to TTV on Friday and they seemed very reasonable - the fact that they've come on here to explain things and sort it out is pretty commendable in my opinion. They've said they'll refund my money (i've had a set of tabs from DanThe from his gorup buy).

Does this mean you've received no money from Dan at all? I think a lot of us paid via bank transfer to him (myself included), on the understanding he would then pay you... 8O

Dan came in ages ago and picked up some tabs and arb tabs for himself and i think one other person who was getting bbb's to weld them on, not sure who and some other chap a friend of his obviously (he seemed ok) came in too but paid by cheque for what he took. but this was ages ago and he told me he was going to fit them and make sure they were ok
he has only paid for the sets he took.

He certainly has not given us any other money or indeed a list of people who want the parts.

From what I understand from this thread he may have given people our bank details so people could have put money straight in to our account, but we need to be told when this happens, even our biggest regular customers send us a notification of bank transfer so we can check it aginst order numbers and job numbers etc (traceablitity etc) and that can be many thousands of pounds.

I honestly dont know at this point if the money has gone in to our account or dans, but i still have no list of people who have paid or want the parts or a refund, I look forward to peoples phone calls on monday to sort this out but please stop threatening us as you think you wont get a refund as this is not the case and you have never been told this, you are just assuming you wont obviously on past dealings with other companies.

My bank statement doesn't show the account number of where the money went, but it was a payment of £69.40 from Mike Sayer that appears on my statement on the 15th January. Can you see if you received money from me at this time?

Ok guys, please disregard this statement, as has been pointed out my dealing is with Jhonno and not TTV. Its just annoying how what seems to be a simple group buy can turn into such a shambles
