Some more pictures guys,

Please excuse the mess in the workshop but ive been so busy with everything its hard to keep on top of it!

What it does show is the finish of these bonnets to be to a very high standard (even if the scenery isnt :-x )

Anyone is welcome to come and see this bonnet At ACE.

When do you need the deposit paying ? Also would it not be better to make it £150 instead of 137 whatever it is

Woah my name got added to the list without me even knowing there was a group buy!

Can you confirm a few things dude?

I'll want to paint mine for maximum stealth - will this be possible? i.e. will it look just like a metal bonnet without being wibbly wobbly like Michelle Mcmanus's cellulite?

Can I have one without the badge indent?

When is Ace so I can have a gander?

Cheers. :D

Hi Ste,

Ace cafe is on Monday the 28th come along if you can

With regards to painting it well ill be honest i think it would be best if you were to buy one of M3gtrs bonnets as you are looking for a bonnet that will loose you weight up front (my bonnets will by half when compaired to a stock OEM one) but Pauls bonnets might be lighter? Link

All my bonnets have the indent for the badge, but if you were to paint it you would fill the void and paint over it like you would with a stock BMW one when debadging. (I know its not ideal, but this mold is very good and it would cost quite a bit of money to make another one (we can do it if you wish)

These bonnets are finished to show the carbon weave and alot of time has gone into this, so it would be a shame to cover it up with paint!

The second Generation Bonnets will come with Carbon weave on the underside too so if you were to paint it you would still be able to show some of the weave on the underside.

Thoughts?

These look great - but to be honest are at their best on dark grey colours: Diamond Black/Gunmetal/Dolphin etc.

I'd love one but on a Lazer Blue car (or White/Green/Red etc) it's a bit Max Power.

I had any of the dark grey colours my name would already be on the list as the price is good for a proven fit and finish,
designed to the spec of an E30 enthusiast.

I'm sure you'd make a mint on eBay, as those guys just love a bit of CF. winkeye

We need deposits ASAP as i am looking to place the order very soon, i do how ever realise that's its January and many people are skint this time of year than any other so im not bashing anyone for the deposit right away. You can pay anything you want for the Deposit but £137 is a minimum to get a place on the Group Buy.

Thats a very good way of putting it :D

Would it be ok to use this Quote on Ebay? 8)

We are looking to offer these bonnets to the E30 community first, then we will try Ebay, but i am hopping for positive feed back on these first, so that people who do choose to buy via Ebay know they are getting the best possible quality which has been approved by the E30 community and ultimately the Zone! :D

I can design a slick HTML eBay sale post when you're ready. So it looks like a proper product with proper engineering/marketing behind it.

Just send images and text.

His require bonnet pins, I want a standard looking bonnet that fits on the standard hinges/latched like yours.

Now that sounds interesting, I htought these ones had that to be honest and that was my plan. Paint the top so it looks standard, but when I pop the bonnet you can see the weave. Not sure what to do now TBH.
