Hi guys

Tons of old posts and links that don't work anymore.

I am very interested in making my 318is a bit more special by adding some boost by Turbo or Supercharging.

Is there anywhere that does kits, any good links for parts supply, companies or eBay? Anywhere new for advice etc?

Many thanks

As I said in your other post the best answer for the m42 is the Mini Eaton supercharger. Most on here (including me) would recommend leaving the 318 i.s. alone and get a different one to butcher.

Google BMW M42 Eaton Supercharger should get you the latest and most up to date info :thumb:

I know mate I remember you saying but I have no issue adding a charger/turbo to my car being a IS or not, it makes it a bit more special and increases the chance of me keeping it if it's more fun.

I have done google to death, I am just after people who have done it recently to help with chat, pics, info and links to companies who supply the parts, I know it's a Mini charger but what about ALL of the other parts and management.

I don't know any on here that have done it and it is mostly done on the E36 318is because people don't tend to mess with the E30 any more as I said above.

Have a look on 318ti.org as they do more there

A few ideas here:
https://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forums/s ... ur-bmw.81/

UK manufacturer that does one and deals with the E30, they should answer any questions and suggest places to map it correctly. This is what I would use if I did it

2mins for me on google :D

Hey, so this is the beast a 316i, so far I've acquired a purple tag steering rack, compact ti rear subframe and now looking for front struts and everything for the front 5 lug conversion. Looking for suspension and a brake set up, before I move onto an engine swap! Thought suspension, steering and brakes would be a good start. Nothing installed yet waiting to acquire the rest of the parts to do it in a oner!

Cheers
