Ecu 173 turbo chip !

Regarding these turbo chips for the 173 ecu they state they are for the m20 but will they work on an m40 regarding not going down the megasquirt route also anyone had any joy with these cheers

im gunna guess at a chip tuned to run a 2.5 6 cylinder will not work correctly on a 4 cylinder
