What would be a good upgrade pump from the (intank) Walbro 255lph?

Can't be of any help but does the Walbro not flow enough as that is one option I was looking at?

I might use a Bosch 044 and mount it where the stock fuel filter goes

The 255lph I'm using now, seems to be on it's limits, and we all know what happens when something is used to its limits for too long.... chaboom :/

so I'd rather pre-empt it from happening,
As I dont like the thought of it starting to run a bit lean when it's running on its full capacity

Don't they have to be fed via another fuel pump?

As long as it's below the fuel level then they are ok, but it could be fed from the stock pump in that location. Although I might end up going down the route of a proper swirl pot

I had thought about that my self, a nice alloy fuelcell with all nice shiny fittings etc etc
but I dont want that, I want to keep it sort of normal looking, not "stock" but not all balls out track car look, if you know what i mean lol

I Think i might of found what i was looking for anywhoo..

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160843479835? ... 1423.l2649

but the question is, will it fit the E30 cradle and fit inside the hole for the tank..

suppose there's only 1 way to find out

I'm sure it can be made to work, should do the job!

I'm torn between an in tank or a nice swirl pot. Since my turds already caged it won't look out of place

Well I bought one and it's now inside the tank,
It "just" fits through the hole for the patrol tank, but what I had to do is,

Cut the bottom of the E30 cradle off, because the base of this pump is 50mm,

flatten the pipe that runs the length of the entire cradle,
cable tie the pump to that,

and I also had to use a different filter on the end of the pump,
as the one supplied was too long to allow the pump to sit inside the standard swirl pot in the bottom of the tank.

But its in now and buzzing away,

surprisingly its much quieter than the 255lph
