Hi all, im having oil pressure trouble i have had the turbo fitted for about a mounth now and the oil pressure light has now come on, seems to stay off when its cold i guess its as the oil thins as its getting hot. i have changed the pressure switch, tried thicker oil so im thinking worn main bearings,

although i have read about oil pressure relif valves could be a cause, does anyone know anything about them? or a way of checking them?

i just want to check every possibilty before i take the motor out again, TIA

As I suspected, are you using a m20 oil pump on yours? Also what big end/main bearing do you use?

I see so if I changed them At the start of the project it may have lasted abit longer. I think the bearings in there now are original so have probably covered 100k, thanks for your responses
