I wanted a 2jz in my cabby but I thort it would just twist everything but I spoke to someone and he said that they put v8s in and they have about 300 bhp because I was thinking about the sr20 but they get expencive after 300bhp to tune so I thort going back to the 2jz was wondering about how much power the chassie can hold??

Well, you can always strengthen it but given that even the original chassis (with original suspension, wheels and engine) starts to twist when driven hard you're just asking for trouble when increasing power/torque and stiffening the suspension...

On the other hand, there are plenty of E30 cabrios in 300bhp range that are driven hard and hold up fine - though the question is that for how long? :)
