fuck knows man, it takes what 6 hours from brum to Edinburgh, so you woulda thought my auntie woulda received it. She aint text or anything yet. got some engine bay painting/welding to do so its not a major rush

you can see 3 bolts through the starter motor hole on the plate that holds it on.

Cheers :) Yeah the more i drive one the more i like it, im happy with the mpg figures most. I get like 450 miles to a tank and i drive like a nutter sometimes

Yeah there are the reasons I don't have a e21 daily now. Shocking handling, no power and not wanting to fix something on it every Saturday before I use it... other than that I love 'em.!

Its the dizzy being made up of 2 dizzys and the timing. But i dont care. It needs so much welding done anyway. When the welding is done then il buy a new dizzy and fuck around with it

Some folk fit 'Lumenition' type electronic ignition kits in place of the points, which apparently eliminates the effects of wear in the shaft, however, being a BMW item, they probably do a service kit for them.

Have you fitted a 2002 dizzy instead of an e21 one? They go in different directions and one has points (the 02 one), the other Bosch electronic ignition.

Il just buy a new one, its fucked. Its cracked, it doesnt fit properly.
