Hi,

Could anyone recommend a bmw workshop manual to me which covers newer bmw models. I need to rebuild a N47 engine and need some info on it.

Cheers

Sorry, but not answering your question but I understand N47 engines are pants, perhaps easier and cheaper to buy another engine from a scrapper ?

You're right, but I've commit to rebuilding now. Spun a big end bearing and already sourced the bits and tooling...

Good on you. I think given how recently the engine was in production it'll need the BMW workshop manual. Have you checked for a Haynes or Bentley manual ?
