Cheap supermarket oil for a few miles, repeat, fill with correct oil.

Would running engine on idle for 5 mins be enough, or do I need to drive it. Also am I correct to think you don't think I should add any type of flushing agent as well?

Pretty much any multigrade will do. Best to change the filter when you put your good oil in.
