I have bought two directional tyres part worn , 225/50/16 and would like to know if as long as the arrows are pointing in the correct direction, does it matter if they go on the right or left of the car.
The tread is an even pattern acroos the tyre and there are no markings saying "outside" etc.

Many thanks, Mart

aslong as the "rotation" arrow is in the correct direction, you are fine.

Assemetric tyres have "Outside" marked on them.

If the arrow is pointing forward when fitted to the car, the tyre is fitted correctly.

Anti clockwise pointing arrow is nearside and viceversa

What if the arrow is at the bottom of the wheel?

Can anyone suggest how to test if the boot lights are staying on with the boot shut?

If the tyre is fitted correctly the arrow will always point anti clockwise on the nearside and clockwise on the offside

if the arrows point forward on the nearside, and backwards on the offside will it go around roundabouts better?
