Unfortunately, I need to have a load lugger for the next 3 years, but this is really tempting.
What are your thoughts?

Not a Jag fan really but christ! Thats a good looking car.
Watch that drivers bolster. I'm always suspicious when the shots are carefully taken to leave that naughty section out.
But yes, I can see the attraction.

So, £10k+ on a E30 sport or £10k on that?! Seems like amazing value for money.

Thing is, £10k on the jag and it'll still be in freefall. 2 years time and another 30k on the clock and it'll probably be a £5k car?
Whereas all e30 sports will be worth million pounds in 6 months time and considering it'll only need a grands worth of welding its a no brainer!!!

I like Jags and the 'Super' is the one to have as it has the gnarly supercharged engine but the more tasteful and restrained body styling. Unfortunately this one has been owned by some HI-VIS inked types who have councilled it up and made it in to a molested mutant . That and its grey with a grey interior = no thanks

For £10k?
Unfortunately, as I mentioned above, I'm not looking because I need a touring/avant for the next 3 years to move stuff to and from Universities.

Any pics ? of the stuff and the students ? Gert wants them for research purposes

Loads of leggy XF's for £6500 - 7000, but don't touch a diesel - very bad news/ 3.0 V6 petrol is the way to go.
Beware these alloy bodied XJ's. They look a lot better now that they're £2500 but the alloy corrosion issues on the doors and panels can be epic. They are very good breakers apparently so buy for £2500, run it till it breaks and then spreadsheet it.
