2000 Focus electric window prob.....

Hi guys - got a cheap focus for the other half to bomb around in and the drivers leccy window doesn't work very well!!!

A lot of talk on the web about taking the door card off and giving the motor a smack - but that hasn't really helped this one!!!

Sometimes, you just hear some clicking, but sometimes the window (one touch) will drop down fine. When it doesn't come down, normally kicking the door where the motor is will do it!!!
Doesn't ever like coming back up though!!! Requires a lot of kicking the door, wiggling around and helping the glass up!!!

I've had the door apart, can't see any obvious issues, connections all look good, lubed it all up a bit and it's still the same.

So any ideas if it could be the motor that's just knackered???
Or a regulator???

Any tips???

The wiring from the car to the door is all in a rubber hose thing - I suppose I'll have to dismantle and check that next!!! I couldn't see an obvious plug/connector!!!
Also, it's a dual switch on the door and the passenger window works fine from there.

All looks better than I would expect on one of these though, fairly clean, dry - none of the door seemed to have been apart before!!

I'll be having another look at it on thursday lunchtime by the sounds of it!!!
