Just bought a 2005 e60 525d sport for the mother. Car drives spot on. However, the Idrive seesm to have an issue.
Car has the wide screen fitted and sat nav etc. When buying the car I noticed that the centre screen (satnav display etc) kept rebooting itself. Now The seller told me he had it checked and it was a £60 wire, which I did not believe at the time.
Doing some research I have found that the problem could be down to a few causes.
The parking sensors work, screen comes on, BMW sign shows and then after a few seconds switches off again.
What could it be?
