its a 2007 car.. So is this a 2013 ECU...Any Bosch Boffins please

The only date or what looks like a date on that is 12-02-02 but the Porsche 997 didn't come out till 2004/2005 and you say it's a 2007 car?

Have you any suitable diagnostic equipment as information like ecu serial number, ecu build date and vehicle vin number can be read of most control units?

A bit of google action on this ECU model suggests that this ECU was made on 2nd February 2012.

A bit of google action on this ECU model suggests that this ECU was made on 2nd February 2012.

That would tally up with that date printed on it but in reverse.
