Hi all, I hope you don't mind but i have a non bmw related question.......
I don't really know a huge amount about cars hence why i would like to ask when i should have the timing belt changed on my vw golf 1.6 petrol 2003. It's done just over 60k
any help on this would be great

Engine code and annual mileage? 16v or 8v? Longlife servicing or regular intervals?
Answer those and I'll grant you an answer.
TBH, I expect the interval to be every 48 months (4 years). So you better change it if it's never been changed.

I believe belt replacement on VWs is 60k and 4 years.
