I hate french cars, but was randomly browsing ebay when i saw this for £400 with 5 mins left to go and it was only 15 min drive away. I dont really need another car as ive already got my e30, a 2.0 focus saloon and a transit but i bidded and won myself a taxed and moted saxo vts for £410 :D

im shocked! it handles like a go-cart and pulls like a rocket. it is very tidy and has a ton of history.

Needs a good clean but im super happy with my winter turd

would be cool to find out what everybody else is buying for the winter

Quite nippy these IIRC - when they were new Citroen did a deal with free insurance and the breakers yards were soon full of them

For £400 with nearly a years ticket it doesnt really matter what it is you can abuse it over the winter and then throw it away :D

I've never done the "buy a car just for the winter" thing but I do like the idea :D

The VTS is very quick indeed. I used to have a 106 GTI which has pretty much the exact same 16V engine. If it lasts the winter you should even get your money back when you sell it.
