Any Golf Mk 5 experts around?

Been away for three weeks holiday, and came home to find my ramp clogged up with a three wheeled '54 Audi A3 (same as Golf Mk 5), put there by my daughter and BF.
Car's a Cat C with impact damage to the front right wheel. The steering arm has cracked off of the hub carrier, right through the ABS sensor hole.
I'v got it all apart, but one thing's puzzling me: There's no obvious trigger wheel for the ABS. The remains of the sensor lines up with the edge of the CV joint on the end of the drive shaft, but seems to run very close to it. There's nothing machined into the CV, and no sign of anything having being around it that may have been cracked off.

It's because the trigger wheel is part of the wheel bearing. The seal on most older bearings is where it gets it's input from...

On that bearings "seal" is where it'd get it's signal. You can get a tool to check. It's like a credit card which has a magnetic force or whatever that you run over bearings that help you establish which units have this technology. As some still uses a hammer and old bearing races which will damage them, or bearings which can be fitted either way but only have the trigger on one side.
The bearing you'll need/use is all one piece so is foolproof

It's the same as the rear of an e39. The Trigger ring is part of the bearing assembly. It's totally smooth, no "teeth" like you get on say an e30 ABS driveshaft or front hub.
