Thinking about getting one of these for the winter period so I can park the Tech 1 up. Also would be good to have a car that is of some use for the house renovation im doing at the moment.

Anyone with one, owned one, or know someone who has had one at all?? that can shed an idea on what they are like?

Liking the idea of something that is sensible to an extent but something that will also be a bit of fun to drive.

I've always had a soft spot for these :)

On a similar theme, check out the stagia... wrong in so many levels! :D

Cheers guys, thanks for the info, the idea of smoking round in an estate with 280bhp and 4WD sounds good to me whilst having the bonus of actually being able to fit more than a training shoe in the boot.

Am ruining the clio 197 and point blank refuse to put anything in the E30 so need something that is useful but also that im not going to resent driving around.

The Stagea......... hmmm what can i say winkeye its umm lovely :?

My dad had one was awesome. Very nice to be in, comfy, very quick and understated.

It was very reliable until the engine gave up the ghost. Ended up breaking it for spares so still have lots of parts left over for one.

I had one. I bought it as a import. Awesome bit of kit but just not sensible enough when it comes to fuel. I sold mine just as the bottom end started to knock which is a common problem with all the subaru engines. If you can stretch to Audi's S4 I think they are a better all rounder than the over stressed GTB.

Thanks again guys
Have looked at the S4 Avant but as am renovating my house the budget just wont stretch that much for a 3rd car between me and the misses. On the fuel front im lucky, 8 mile a day commute and generally always use the misses car at the weekend :D

I had a B4 RSK which is the saloon version, great cars. I had it for four years and 70000 miles with no major issues. So I bought the next shape GT SpecB estate, which I'm just about to sell to buy another JDM Subaru!

They are expensive to insure and fuel though!

Cool cheers for that Rodderz

Being 30 have checked out the insurance and although not cheap its not rediculous, also under no illusions about fueling but on the limited mileage I do its not too bad
