Hi Guys

Just cannot seem to a full answer on the exact parts needed, I found a mechanic who said he will fit it as long as I get all the parts but he is being vague, dont know if I should take to him now to be fair haha. what in your experience is needed? would i need the rack, pump reservoir and new alternator and bracket for the alternator?

Rack.
Pump and possible mounts
Resevoir & mount
Possibly different pulley for the belt to run off.

Just thinking of what I bought when I converted and E30 to power steering.

I assume when you say altenator you actually mean the PAS pump?

Do you really need power steering on a 1300 MK2 golf, spend the money on a personal trainer and convert the spaghetti arms instead ;o))))

I’ve done a Corsa C electric column conversion on one, part was about £50 from a scrapyard. A controller from eBay about £40. An aftermarket steering wheel and boss was probably about £100. And took me around a morning to fit it. That was about 6years who and it’s still working fine to this day.
