Hope he is as fortunate as we have been!rh306 wrote:A mate just bought one of these on the strength of this thread
Over the last year, the handbrake issue manifested it's self again, this time causing the rear r/h wheel to run hot, damaging the wheel cylinder seal.I was fully occupied with renovating our retirement home 100 miles away,so instructed 'er indoors to take it to the indie Nissan place in Lincoln(their name eludes me ATM!),this produced a modest bill for about £150,new cable/wheel cylinder and labour.
I changed the oil/filter a few weeks back at 48k and it will be off for it's first Norfolk MoT next week.
It's grown a mark on each corner, and she scraped the n/s door on the gatepost(coming in,NOT reversing out, would you believe!)over the last two years, but it still starts first time and the air-con still blows cold and she loves it.

And it passed it's MoT,having run a mere 3470 miles in the last year.
Another advisory last year was a bit of corrosion on the rear end of the front/rear brake pipe, today's tester leaped on this and the garage offered to fix it while I waited....as the first thirty feet of the drive from my garage is currently being re-built
I let them get on with it.This generated a total bill of just £76.
Give a total bill for the year of less than £250,cannot really grumble!
