BMW N46 Noisy

Me and my dad changed the timing chain on a 2004 318ci and off idle its starts to rattle again. Any idea on what this could be?

Don't worry mate got its sorted it was the VANOS on the exhaust side

Stretched chains are one of the many problems the N42 and N46 has.

Yeah if you ask me you can't beat a 6 Cylinder
