I tried to buy one of these sad turds about 15 years ago. After a protracted haggling period over several weeks we finally agreed on 2 bags . Then I went to collect it and he said his mate told him it was worth 3k. I was sick but not stupid .
Of course Malcolm Bricklin was a very slippery snake oil salesman type who had a very interesting career, culminating with launching the Yugo brand in the US. Like most of his ventures, that one ended pretty badly as well.
