Ford Ranger twin cab pick up

anyone owned or had use of a ford ranger twin cab pick up thing ?

really like the look of them and thinking about getting one as opposed to a navara etc

I sell them. Its a Mazda with a different badge. Good workhorses but the Mitsubishi wins hands down. Now if you want the all new ranger then your on to a winner but your looking at 9 month or so wait at the moment.

a mate said that about the mazda, id rather the ford tho, what mitsubishi the l200 warrior ? ive drove some working at festivals and hilux, hilux i drove a brand new one with 700 miles on the clock earlier in the year it was junk, felt delicate and flimsy and cheaply made

saw a blue ranger a couple of weeks ago with a metal load cover with a chrome roof rack above that, big chrome roof bar with spot lamps, big tyres, it looked the business

id prob be looking at 4-5k range one, seem some nice looking ones for sale with around 80k fsh for around that

You need to go to specsavers.

they love a gearbox 3rd gear is always moody and will let you down,
they are very thirsty compared to the L200 and D4d hi-lux the load area is completely useless as a work truck and not viable as a daily, they mostly appeal to knuckle dragging scrap yard types,

if you really need to own a twin cab pick up then grab a Hi-lux, they are far more durable/reliable and will hold a residual value for much longer because of this, I can only speak through experience here poltsa

If i were going shopping for a twincab with 5k, I would be looking for a Dodge ram with LPG

I have to agree with Simon,I can't see the appeal,i'm not a builder as such,more of a property renovations man and with the amount of kit I have to carry a twin cab pick affair would be hopeless.
