...is this the easy way to a quick bankruptcy, or an opportunity to kerb crawl in real style this summer

It seems like the kind of car which doesn't have much appeal to council types, so a one owner, low miler could be a solid prospect :?

I have had a few and they have been pretty painless. The main thing to look for is a car that has had low owners and regular use. Like all turds, sitting around does them no favours.

A mate of mine bought a fairly together shadow 1 that had only done several hundred miles a year for the last decade . He is now doing that a week and along with his beastly ways and complete lack of mechanical sympathy has spent the purchase price again in 18 months on repairs ! 12 mpg gets tedious as well.

He now has his eyes on a Corniche drop top , I am trying to persuade him that what he really needs is a Camargue :)

Practical Performance did a matt black turbo trackday Roller!!!!!!!!

If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and are creative enough, I would assume you could bodge most things to keep it running, if need be!!!
