ive a passion for these
http://www.redvs.co.uk/car_MITSUBISHI-G ... _index.php

& this one is only minutes from my house.. i owned a very, very rare one of these knowin as a "super VR4" (TBH it was thee only saloon "Super" version in the UK) but it bit me hard & left me with bad memory's, if a bad one is bought these things can cost an absolute fortune to put right.

it's £1K to much but no harm in maybe going along for a look .. is there winkeye

my old "Super VR4"

O dear.... i went and had a look & i like what i seen: 2 owners, FSH 15 or 16 RALLIART stamps!, 3 dealer stamp's.. totally untouched car, no tappet noise, clear fluid's, no warning light's staying on, paint work has the odd mark & does need a light machine polish, one door has been painted, leather is all good... he will also give with the sale a full yrs RAC gold warranty that covers absolutely every mechanical & electrical part (inc auto box, turbo's & complete 4wd system) as well as 24hr 52wks breakdown cover

deffo worth thinking about i think, i got him down to £3500 but i think it could come down some more? £3200 with the warranty and i'd maybe have it!

very, very underestimated car's.. 270/280bhp with amazing grip and all the toy's & more than most EVO's (except 8 & 9 are a different breed all together)
the power flow's smoothly, still fairly hard car's to tune but there are upgrade part's available, mainly from Australia/New Zealand & America but the way they drive in standard form can be enough, just the usual suspension & brembo brake upgrades can make a massive difference

servicing & fuel use are the main killer's

I loved my Galant VR4 (On Gran Turismo 2 :o: )

Get it, what you got to lose? £3200? Even if you just use it for your RAC gold cover and flog it on next year
I'll check with the manager
