That is what I thought until I removed all the undertrays to replace the gear linkage and seals :eek: Torque tube wrongness is blurring my views on what constitutes worn gear linkage and a nasty oil leak ! :(

They are nothing like 325i E30 - same front suspension, engine and gearbox (albeit with different E36 style sump) but everything else is different/unique.

Have you seen one with the factory hard top? Those Krauts were smoking some serious shit when the came up with that. Definitely part of Germany's contribution to '80's fashion crimes - including the Polo Harlequin and ze leather trousers Ja?
