Hi . I have not been able to get to work on my 85 323i coupe. Since losing my dad I have had a bit of low mood. I am in two minds to sell it as a project. It's got 121k on. Engine strong. Interior swapped out for an immaculate one from an SE with matching door cards front and back but the original interior is included. Sunroof cassette immaculate. Grill scuttle immaculate. Needs inner and outer rear arches but includes all panels. Last owner 28 years. Would need a full respray to blend paint as some worn and bonnet has had a repair. Not sure whether to sell and let go as not touched it for months. What do you think it's worth in current state? Also needs axle bushes and these are included.

6k maybe. Need pictures though.
Hope you feel better mate. If you don't need the money I think you'd regret selling it in the future.

If you're not in the right place now, just put a cover on it and keep it safe. You'll soon find yourself in some positive head space and be glad you kept it.

I’ve got to agree with rix313, if you can afford to keep it and it’s not in the way I think you should keep it,323i are getting very rare and your one looks like a clean and tidy one.The other thing is in my opinion is I don’t know how long ago you lost you father, and it’s not my business but you probably fill a bit raw and obviously upset and maybe not thinking straight,so don’t make a quick decision and regret it,anyway good luck in the decision you make.

Thanks for your response and kind words. I've decided to just leave things as they are for now. I'm apathetic about things and the car is in the garage taking no harm . Probably have another assessment of things in spring. Cheers Jed
