Pierburg carb. Auto car can only find manual ones will they fit?

Hi all I've narrowed down the intermittent running issue with my m10 auto. It's looking like the good old pierburg carb is playing up. I've found someone selling one but it's off a manual car. I've found new weber kits but they say for manual only. Can manual carbs be adapted for my auto? Having a bit of a mare with it
My auto (316) has a Weber on but I have no idea how it went together but I do know it works very well.
