I’m thinking of pulling a loan for a 89 E21. Some of the things I want to do is an interior swap from upholstery to leather, wheels, putting a body kit, and turboing it.
If I can, let me know what I can and cannot do.
Can you turbo charge the M10 engine?

If I remember correctly BMW F1 cars used to be powered by an M10 with a turbo so that's definitely possible. I'm pretty sure there's been a few conversions on the zone over the years too. I'm not sure about body kits, as far as I know there was nothing offered for the E21 from the factory but I dare say there are after-market options such as BBS or Pfeba if you're lucky enough to find one.
