Hi guys
I bought my first car not too long ago and have wanted to change the air filter that the previous owner had installed
Does anyone know of an air filter that fits on to the original carburetor I had purchased a ram air filter that I have to return. Below are some pictures of the carburetor give it you an idea of what I am working with.
What other procedures would I need to take into consideration? (Wires )
BMW 316 air filter

I had bought an original cover however the circle ant the bottom didn’t seem to be the same size were there two different carb options? Or adapters
I would put a weber on there asap mate because this carb WILL let you down.Cloggy Saint wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 3:01 pmYour best bet would be to revert to the original set up.
They were really shit to say the least and will "give up " with almost no notice at all, I know !!
The weber is a manual choke but works fine in all conditions mate !!
Mart.
Only the E46 cab left now.
Just got too old.
