Hi there,
Ive spend a lot of time searching te webs for information. Found a lot, so much it got my head spinning.
I would like to replace the pierburg with a weber. Instead of doing a conversion kit with an adapter plate I would like to take another route.
I would like to use an older intake from, lets say an 2002 model with the m10 engine. This should be a direct fit right?
If so, what would be the best weber for the little m10 fourbanger. Use the 32/34 dmtl like the conversion kits on the market use. Or go a bit bolder and use the 32/36 with larger venturi's
Does anyone have experience with using an 02 series m10 intake on an 316? Possibly with the 32/36 weber on top?
Or should i just play safe and get that much used conversion kit with an adapter plate for the pierburg intake.

Have you gone around into finding a solution by any chance? I’m searching for the same thing,I just thought I go and machine an aluminum plate that fits the cross stud on the intake,to the normal stud of the 32/36 DGEV I want to get the auto choke one, don’t like the cable in the inside of a 32/34 DMTL looks ugly in my opinion!
