Hello, I have an 1988 BMW e30 with M10B18 L-kat engine and I have some problem with this engine.
The biggest problems are:
- Every time when I start up don’t idle and stops, after almost 5 minutes of running and accelerate to 2000 rpm is start idle;
- Sometimes I have backfire into intake manifold;
- Backfires into exhaust system ;
- Poor performance and excessive fuel consumption;
- Between 1500 and 2500 rpm I have is running very bad, like is running only in 3 pistons
- My idle speed is very low ( almost 500 rpm)and I can’t adjusted.

I changed almost everything but with no results. New vacuum hoses and verified for leaks, new spark plugs, ignition leads, distributor cap and rotor, thermo time switch, oxygen sensor, rubber boot between air flow sensor and intake manifold, changed volume air flow sensor, idle control valve, throttle position switch and cold start injector and many other things.
In Autodata I get to check differential pressure. How can influence differential the engine when idling?

Can I get some help from you to get back on the streets this e30? I am out of ideas and nobody near me can help me, I am the only one with M10 where I live and I can’t find a mechanic for this engine.
