I'm sorry to advertise here but I thought this was a more suitable location than the E30 parts section.
Long story short my dreams of building an E30 V8 touring have come to an abrupt end. The land where I keep my cars I am going to loose the use of very soon. I have no choice but to abandon the project.

So I have an M reg E34 540I M60B40 with a 6 speed manual box. The engine is still in the car and runs. However the car is not road legal. It was an MOT failure needing welding on the sills and brake pipes. (Ideal donor car) However I do start it and drive it around the area I keep it at to keep things moving. I began by stripping things off the car so I think it would be more suitable as a donor car than for someone to put back on the road. For example I removed the fan, and other things in the engine bay to make removing the engine as easy as possible. When I bought the car I read about the issue the M60 had of the oil pump bolts coming loose. I dropped the sump and this had happened. But I have reinstalled the bolts and torqued them correctly. The manifolds are on the engine but from the downpipes back there is no exhaust system. The engine runs sweet. I also removed the immobilizer from the car and it fires up every time.
If anyone is interested or would like to view it please PM me as mobile phone signal is rubbish where I live. The car is located near Kidderminster, Worcestershire. I'm looking for £1000 ovno. I really would like to see this going to power an E30!
Thanks,
Luke
