The e34 booster is not really hydraulic, but a conventional vacuum-booster.

There's lots of info on different brake-booster approaches on this forum, as well as on www.r3vlimited.com

questions i have mainly are how far did you move it over i was thinking of using the 2 holes already there nearest fuse box and drilling two more and the big one obviously but not sure is that far enough ?

and secondly what way did you work it inside the car did you move the the brake linkage over and extend the brake rod from the drivers side or did you leave that in place and extend the linkage to meet the master cylinder ? any pictures of it ?

Seems that there's always something new to learn every day :)

Anyways, hydraulic brake boosters have been fitted also many times on V8 e30's. Couple of projects can be found also on www.e30.de

Hi guys, I'm just about to order some mounts from 300mm.de mounts, I'm thinking long term ill try and fit an s62,but currently thinking an m60. So question is, is it worth getting the 10mm spacer or 20mm spacers?

Any advice would be great.
Cheers Chris.

It all depends on your ride height. If you have a low setup you might end up with crapy suspension and crapy handling...

I'll be looking for around standard to 30mm max! It's running e30 m3 suspension, with eibach springs and Boge shocks. More a comfortable quick cruiser than an out and out race car.

Cheers Chris.
