I'm looking for some advise regarding my engine conversion. (V8 4L M62)

Over the last couple of months I've been collecting parts ready for my conversion.

My main concern is the break solution, I'm looking for advice or anyone that has completed this in a Right Hand Drive. I'm aware that most use the "easiest" solution to use a pushrod system to relocate the existing servo to the front of the car.

My concern for this solution is that the right hand drive already uses a system of rods to allow the pedals to operate on the right hand side of the car. From some research I have found people have been successful by mounting the servo within the glove box, but as this car is my "Daily" so would like to keep this.

The next best option is to use a remote servo or servo-less, could anyone share there experience on completing this in a right hand drive?

Gargastic offer an awesome setup but have yet to develop a system to right hand drive http://garagistic.com/index.php?page=e3 ... ton-pedals

Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated, my google foo for anyone completing this kind of conversion RHD is scares. Without paying Gamma Racing to do it for me :(

Relatively easy to do is the system under the glove box

I have never seen a good system that utilities the servo by the front headlights.
Mine as an example is rather big and the car is fully stripped.
But (and ill have to get a photo) my friend has mounted his behind the glove box but then section the glovebox so admittedly its smaller but it still functions.

If you planning on using it as a daily but dont want to loose the glovebox, driving with boosterless brakes is a bit of a pain in my opinion.

The conversion itself its fairly straight forward, the brakes and manifolds are the hardest part. Manifolds now are sorted easily so its just what option to go for on brakes

Please excuse the crap around it!

I spent about an hour trying to find a glove box/servo conversion photo the other night, I'm glad to have clicked into this thread! Is that the standard E30 MC and servo? Which manifolds are easily available?

Cheers

Wills way is awesome, the thing i would do is drop the motor in on its mounts to figure where it is going to sit then work from there.

Manifolds from Ergen motorsport, good power gains too from them :)
