E39 Donor Car

Hi all i'm new to all this and I've had a search to the best of my ability and can't find a straight answer to my question

I have an E39 540i donor car which was free, it doesn't have a gearbox because it was blown hence I got the car free.

My question is, what can I use from this car in my v8 conversion? Obviously I want to make the most of what I have for free.

The car will be used daily with a 5 speed box and occasional track days.
