non ews ecu

i have an m60 out of an e34 with ews fitted.

Wondering if i was to get a non ews ecu of a e34/e38 would it work with the wiring loom i have fitted. i know on the m50s you can.

does anybody know where the ews module is in an e34 if i can work out the ews i might stick with it but with non ews ecus going for around £50 it seems easier.

plug a non ews ecu into it and it should fire it first time if all your other wiring is correct.had the same problem with mines.got a mates ecu and it fired up first turn of the key

Took the engine out before realising it had ews! a˜•Trying to find out on the net what bits and were the ews module is in an e34. Going to try trace the wires again tonight.

easier getting an ecu without ews fitted honestly.i done the same thing found out what it was then got a non ews ecu and it started first turn of the key

just get a m60 ecu ending in 404 these are NON EWS
