Hey guys a bit off advice urgently needed

Fitted the s50b30 into the car today minus the gearbox (so the engine is leaning forward on the mounts) and I've noticed the two heater matrix pipes are within about 25-35mm from the engine itself, what's the best way to get around this ? 90 degree piping maybe ?

What have you guys done ?

Any pics and advice would be greatly appreciated

Regards

You need two 90 degree bends off the heater stubs, I used some samco bends and two hose joiners. You will also need to cut the stubs so they are a bit shorter.
I cut mine so they were level with the surrounding bulkhead insulation stuff (so I could get at the jubilee clips easier), but it was still very tight. Not sure I've got any pics showing it, but I'll check later.
Some people cut the pipes level with the bulkhead itself and access the jubilee clips from inside/under the dash, but I preferred to have the majority of the join in the engine bay.
