So I've just got round to ripping the old m20 out of my sport and ready to get going!!
I think I've decided to go for a set of brakes from WMS unless anyone has any other suggestions?
The only other issue I have is Coilovers! As I'm looking to track the car once in a while I'm looking for a set of b8's? Am I correct in doing so? Any other options out there? (I know Coilovers aren't soft on the road but considering I have 2 slipped discs I don't want her unbearable!)
And last but not least wondered if anyone knew of a half decent s5x engine and box setup?
Any big pointers to look out for apart from the vanos of course!
Cheers Ryan
Coilovers and brakes? Any decent s5x motors about?

It may be worth asking about the brakes and suspension in the motorsport/trackday section, although a wms kit and B8's with a carefully chosen spring will be fine on the road, see what the track car boys are using and their thoughts on what to use for a road/track car. Sounds like you may benefit from having some sort of flexibility (adjustable set up).
As for the engine, what are you planning S50B30,B32,s54? With either of those engines your safest bet is to buy something that is still running,(they are out there) that way you can listen for excessive vanos noise etc. whatever you choose an inspection of the bottom end and a set of arp rod bolts is essential no matter how good you think the engine is. I spent £1k on a new oil pump, shells, arp rod bolts and sump mods before it got anywhere near the engine bay, sounds expensive but its not compared to something going wrong. GL

A friend of mine has a s50b30 just the motor and he wants mates rates ;) I will defiantly be getting down and dirty with the bottom end!
Thanks again
