A friend of mine is looking to sell his S50 3.0 powered E30 touring but being a bit of an unusual car isn't too sure what to ask for it.

Very nicely built.

Any idea what these tend to sell for?

Any pics available?

Bodywork will have a lot to do with the final price, no matter how well the conversion has been done.
I've seen one S50d touring struggle to sell at £3k (I think it finally went for below that), but it wasn't the tidiest of cars.
S50 conversions don't come up for sell very often, but people ask anywhere from £3k to £8k+ depending on what other goodies are on the car. Well specced 2drs usually get the higher prices though.

Bodyworks pretty good, no rust etc.

I don't know much about the car but I think it's got the expensive custom exhaust manifold, LSD etc

he's stuck it up on ebay with a 3k start so I guess it's in the right ball park

Saw this on ebay last night, sleeper is the word :D

Looks decent enough, and has the BTB manifold, the bodywork looks clean. A bit better filter set up would be good, but thats hardly worth moaning about

Looks like its in the right area price wise, someones had a bid on it.

Comfort interior FTW.

Yea, the only other S50'd e30 i'd seen myself on ebay was a Calypso Red 2-Door, at about £6.5k, was really clean, which seemed to sell, but still i'd say your mate definately has started in the right bracket :thumb:

Sure I've seen this advertised elsewhere.

I like white tourings in general, this one I like even more.

Cheers for the replies,

I'd quite like it myself as I think my PBMW race car would look quite good being towed with it, but as I do 20,000+ miles a year I need boring diesels for everyday use

That does look tidy indeed 8)
As above, a good heatshield on the air filter, plus some front brake upgrades and someone will have a very nice sleeper to smoke about in.

Considering how difficult it is to find clean shells now (if it's as clean as the pics suggest), that should sell quite easily.... just wish I was in the position to buy

I reckon thats price bang on at £5495.

Looks a tidy car and has the right bits done and been used for the conversion.
