Only a question, as i can't find this topic covered.....

but how easy would it be to put a S54 in to a already converted E30 S50. Has anyone done this?
Who can do it?
what would it cost?

Thanks

Actual fitting should be pretty much the same when it comes to sump, mounts, cooling etc. I know the exhaust manifold flanges are different, but it could be possible to re use the converted manifolds from the S50 conversion with a change of flanges to the S54 ones - hopefully someone could answer that??
Wiring will be the main issue that may push the cost up.

I have done this conversion.

Have a read of my build thread:

Contact me should want a chat, a ready to fit kit, or a complete conversion

I doubt the s50 exhaust manifold will work out changing the flanges, but you can modify the s54 manifols.
