Is it a M8?
Size of the oil return to an S50 sump

The airbox oil drain that you have to tap?
Im not that up on Metric Thread Sizes so i'd ask for confirmation from an engineer type, maybe take the fitting to a shop etc. but i think its M12. Basically, i drilled to 11mm and tapped to suit (my taps are so worn out i cant see the sizes). A smaller 10.2mm drill bit would probably be better but whatever, coarse thread, it works.
The location i chose to return the drain also required me to trim the length of the oil return fitting down a little bit, as it can bottom out on the sump, and this would be bad if it stopped the return flow..
It sounds like we're in a similar stage of our conversion!
My sump is on (though i fear i should of put a bit of sealent around the timing case joins etc), motor is fitted, just finalised my exhaust manifolds, wiring loom is in the right place but i cant fit it under my 4 pot cover yet. Next up is fire the gearbox and exhaust on, then get to work on the airbox/brake master..
How about you?
