e30s50b30 wont start ! won't even turn over

hi guys as some of you know i'm having a e30s50b30 built , the car is now done and the ews chip put in but it wont start or turn over at all , is this got to do with the fob or is the function of the fob irrelevant now ?

the fob was in the donor e36 m3 and now i'm using that engine for my project if it ever starts that is ! any help on what t0 do appreciated thanks in advance

The fob will have nothing to do with it, so you can rule that out. Was the e30 a automatic by any chance? If not it is possible a mistake has been made with the wiring.

The e30 was an auto now changed to the manual s50b30 I hoped to have it for Xmas ! A bit gutted .

Reasons for not running can be many and complex, but reasons for not cranking can only be simple ones.
Has the EWS box's starter inhibit function been wired in? It's not normally uses in conversions, but there's always exceptions.

There should be two thickish black/yellow wires above the glove box area which are plugged together, to form one continuous wire.
If the inhibitor hasn't been bridged, these two black/yellows won't be plugged together, but each one will be connected to a black wire.
Simply unplug the black wires and plug the black/yellows together (one has a male connector and the other female).
Follow the two disconnected black wires to a relay, remove the relay, the black wires, and the other wires from the relay, which end up near the gear lever,

thans for the suggestions i will try all of them not sure if the auto inhibitor has been bridged but will loo and eep you informed .
